one of the big problems is the 2-3 shift spring almost every one of them break and no one fix's them sometime's you don't know there broke until it takes out other parts with it

Plastic? Some stockers came with a rubber bonded metal pan gasket. If that is not available then i would go with a "Farpack" gasket, they are a laminated paper type gasket material, its a super effective material.

Cork wont always leak, you just need to toque the gasket correctly.
