Visious, does that mean that I am going to have to pull the engine and replace the bearing?

If your oil pressure is reading these after puting a manual oil pressure gage on the engine then the answer is yes the engine will have to come out and have all rod and main bearings replaced as well as the cam bearings.

Man, that sucks. Ok, so how imperative is this, I mean so long as the pressure doesn't just stop and I nurse the engine. Could it feasibly make it for a little while (about 4 months) before I yank it out and do the dang thing, i mean it has been doing this for two years with no other problems. What do ya' think?

Oh, and another question, what do I need to do to install a mechanical oil gauge? does it just screw into the old oil sending unit input. Or, do I need to tap into it somewhere else, if so where?
