Cool V10 mpg

I have a 1999 Ram V10 4x4 I get 10 MPG's day in day out. I love my truck, if your looking for a daily driver I might recommend a smaller car. I have mine to tow my boat and do dump runs & firewood. It doesn't get many miles put on it so the gas thing isn't much of a factor. Good luck and give us a post on the model, make and particulars.

I get between 9-10 mpg. I don't have to commute with it and I tow a 12 000 lbs 5th wheel. Its been a great truck and not many problems. I done brakes, tires, track bar, throttle position sensor, rear diff sensor, regular fluid changes and an A/C compressor.

Default Good Truck

Home to work round trip is 7 miles tops, mine get's only 8 to 9 miles per in city (lots of stop and go with traffic lights). I get much better on the highway when I am able to open her up. That being said, I would not give her up for anything.

i too have a 95 2500 SLT Laramie on the highway i get about 17MPG and around town i get about 12MPG not sure why i get higher MPG than most may be because i only have 2WD but around town i flog the hell out of it. infact it is in the shop getting the tail shaft uni-joints and centre bearing replaced as they were flogged out way to much. i too won't be getting rid of mine anytime soon as they aren't that cheap to buy over here in Australia

Default Good Engine

I have a 96 2500 slt Laramie. I pull a sailboat with 5th wheel 20,000 lb and it gets about 7 mpg when towing. When just driving around town I get about 10 mpg. Mine never broke and Im at 172,000 miles. It has a ton of torque and will drag a hemi any day..

Very good truck but the gas mileage will screw you in the end. Other then having horrible gas mileage I have only had minor maintenance on the truck and I wouldn't trade it for anything. If the trucks in good running condition its better than a train.
