ok none of the local auto part stores have it, same with the local garages the dealerships wont loan it out or let u buy it. I read on another site that its basically a big allen key. Does anyone know any alternatives? i also read on that site someone said find a torsion bar from a 70's dodge, chrysler or plymouth.... now does anyone know the size of the locknut? or a allen wrench that would fit? lol I dont care I can make a tool i just need to know the size of the nut. i really dont wanna spend $70 to buy a C-4164 Wrench. anything would be helpful thank you

I think it's a 1 1/4 hex on the end but I'm not 100% sure of the size.

Just buy the tool dude. Better to use the tool one time, than to take a chance on something jerry rigged. Especially when rebuilding the drivetrain.

I believe it is a honda axle nut. A buddy of mine who works at the shop next door made one and i think that is what he said he used.
