i have the FIPK that i painted orange and it works really well. I pulled out that rubber flap between the radiator and radiator support. Its been off for about 2 months now and havent had any water problems so far. It just has to be cleaned more often(damn bugs love the hemi orange grille!). I might put a larger AEM DryFlow air filter. I have one on my S10 that hasnt been cleaned in 10,000 miles! It doesnt even look dirty!

Can't think of the name right now but one of those valves a lot of the Honda guys used to use maybe still do might have come in handy here. Hydro locking is a issue in the Honda world with CAI's going through deep puddles. There are some valves I know AEM used to and maybe still makes one. I just can't think of the name right now. Maybe read up on Honda-Tech. I haven't been into the Honda side of things for a while now.

Basically though I think the theory is that if you go mudding or offroading a lot the stock setup is the best way to go without a snorkle.

No that's for a turbo haha. I just can't remember what it's called. Maybe I need to search and see. It's supposed to stop water from going in and hydro locking your engine.
