Mine was like HTM's... none of the speakers worked until I hooked up the blue wire. Drove me crazy for a half hour.

Yup. I bought my head unit used. I think I payed like half price for it. The one I bought wasn't that old either. I thought they sold me a bad head unit until we hooked it up in a friends car. I ended up checking more into it since it worked in his and not mine and after talking to people decided to try hooking the blue wire up and sure enough that was the problem.

Can someone please explain the "blue amp wire" & where it gets connected on the infinity 6x9 speaker?? I have (2) blue/orange wires & (2) blue/white wires left. On the the speaker itself, the wires change color (2) Black (2) Green (1) Red (1) Gray There's (1) White wire & (1) Blue wire comming directly from the speaker amp to the the speaker itself. The diagrams only show Head unit. I need a diagram of the speaker with the amp.

Gets connected to the back of the head unit. Well from the headlight wiring harness to the wiring harness adapter for your truck.
