Default Random picture of the Beast.

Had to run to the auto parts store in the next town over for parts for my Ranger, and on the way home, we had an amazing sunset. Just so happened that I had my camera in the truck:

Let me know what you think

Not bad at all. Must be a decent camera as well.

You must put a lot of miles on your Ram running to get parts for a Ford.

Camera is a Canon Powershot A560

Lately, yeah, I've put a lot of miles on it. Hahaha. The Ranger has gotten about 2K this year. Dodge has already gotten 8K, and I've only had it since April. My yearly average is normally about 10K.

Canon makes nice cameras. Wife and I got us a SX100 IS last Christmas, best camera I have ever owned. She owned an Olympus before, and I owned a HP. The HP was good except in low light situations, the Olympus was just an inexpensive little thing. Sold them both on eBay, paid for half of our Canon, and it puts them both to shame.

My wife hates technology, so when she likes it, you know it has to be good.

Glad to have another "rural" guy on the forums. So many of these city people on here now, east coast and west coast gangsters... J/K.

Beautiful picture! I'm a sucker for sunsets. Can't get up early enough for sunrises.

Yeah, the Rebel XTi was and still is a very nice camera. My mother purchased the Nikon equivalent because it was, at the time, about $100 cheaper. She regrets it to this day. Nikon is a decent camera, just isn't a Canon.
