just anything i may need while fixing this thing up. I recently did the pitman arm and idler arm and now i need to take a look at the drivers side front brake. I think i may need a new rotor and possibly a new caliper...just wondering if there was a site i could get good parts at for a reasonable price.

Yup I like Summit, Jegs, LMC truck, and those are most of where I get parts online. Rockauto.com is supposed to be good too but the one time I ordered something from them I ordered the wrong o2 sensor so had to cancel it.

For the brake calipers I got mine from Fishers Auto Parts as they were the cheapest price I could find and most places had the same brand. I had to turn in my old ones for a core. It was a lot cheaper than Summit but you got to keep your old ones if you went through Summit. I think Summit had a different brand though.

For brake pads I tried to get the Hawks through Summit but ended up being a big mix up so finally got them and kept them as spares. I ended up using a set of nice Raybestos I think were $100 or so right around there with tax. I get most of my parts to repair stuff from Fishers Auto or Napa. Advanced auto I don't mind getting stuff like bulbs, oil and filters, etc but I don't like a lot of their actual parts unless it's a known name brand.

For mods most of them probably come from Summit.

Yup I like Napa a lot. Forgot to mention lately I've been using mostly OEM parts from the dealer to replace stuff. They usually cost more but for some reason they just seem to be the best. I don't like replacing stuff a year down the road because it crapped out after 20k miles when the factory one lasted 80k.
