awaiting the picture =] remember that after you reconnect the battery your computer is going to have to re-learn itself. Will probably take 10 - 20 miles for it to re-learn itself.
yea, i went for a drive to see the water ( beach) and back is about 27 miles, still not right. i have no idea about the voltage thing or the temp gauge but my dad said that the speedo is cable right to the gauge, is this true. cause i never remember disconnecting it but i may have when i just pulled to get it out.
i just tried to get a pic. but its my camera on my phone. it looks like its purple. so didnt take it. i will try to get it. promise guys i think youll all like it
speedo isn't cabled, its electric. I can tell you that much. I still say pull that cluster and re-trace what you didn't plug in. What bothers me is you should be throwing a code if your gauges arn't working.
well my chech engine is on anyway because i have two bad o2's and a gutted cat so i have no idea if its throwing or not. but i have let it drive for like 50 miles now so its not the comp doing it, i did retrace everything, i tryed that but the gauges all run through a computer board. not just wires. so i can do anything to it, to follow at least.
sorry but im really liking the idea of changing the color of the interior lights. I want to go with a nice blue like in the modern vehicles. Not much into the green look.
Did anyone ever successfully do this besides the one guy who did it with LED's? From my understanding through searching, there is a blue film behind the clusters, and yellow incandescent bulbs, so when mixed together produces the green color many of us are tired of.
Has anyone just bought regular clear incandescent bulbs so it still makes everything blue, but allows you to still dim everything, unlike the LED's.
