turning things red problem
ok i pulled the dash apart, pulled the screws out for the guage cluster. mde everything red, kept everything the same, bulbs included. put it all back together, now not one of the guages work. at all. is there a certain way i have to do this, or a plug i m missing? i plug into the two sockets made to the cluster themselves.
I've never messed with the cluster, so I can't help you. It's 1:14 AM where im at so... my guess is "normal people" are asleep so you'll prob have to wait a few hours till they wake up. lol just messing with ya. Wish ya luck.
yea its 1220 here, and i am an avide kind of guy, i dont get tired or hungry or bored when i am woring on my truck even though right now i havent eaten in like 11 hours and i would probably go right to sleep about now. which is why i am kicking myself but am gong to give it up for the night. new day tomorrow.
ok bump again. read my haynes manual, did everythng just the way they said. still is not working, could this be a fuse that may have blown or is there a fuse for the entire cluster?
i will deffinatly do that, but just to give to an idea, i have every bulb red and everything that is trasparent red, the blue does not matter.
update. i got three out of the six gauges to work, i got the rpm's, gas level and oil pressure to work, so now i just have to figure out the rest
Any ideas anyone

Best help I can offer is to triple check your connections. Un plug and replug if you can. Maybe even try to reset your pcm as stupid as that sounds. (I know the cluster and PCM are picky if things arn't connected 110%. nobus issue) Im going out on a limb here because i've never messed with the cluster, but it seems that no one else is around to give ya a hand.
