360 ram help!!???
Take a can of starting fluid,.. When the motor is cold,.. Right away after you start it,..
Spray around the intake manifold. Not IN the throddle - body but, around the manifold
area and see if your idle goes up. If it does,.. There ya go,.. Vacume leak. Just do it quickly. You would be surprised how fast the exhaust manifolds get hot. Don't need to
be making fires under there.

thats "leak" is the butterflies closing on your throttle body and the engine starving for air i know its not the CAT as mine doesnt have one and its still having this problem no one has any idea what is causing it and mine is to the point its barely drivable any help would be great for me too lo
no, no rattle, just a really bad hissing like a vaccum leak I`ve never quite heard before!!lol cant BELIEVE cant find nothin!! but then again, dont really wanna tear it apart in the street, (thats where it`s stuck in front of the house!) Iwish ya could hear it, it`s weird!lol
pull the throttle body and check the gasket, and the iac and its gasket. if not, then
check the torque on the intake manifold bolts, check all vaccum lines running into manifold (there is a schematic on the hood). if there is a suspected crack in the manifold, take a mirror and look behind it. Or better yet, pull it, inspect it, and replace the plenum gasket while its off.
