Default 360 ram help!!???

Hi. My brother has a 94 ram w/360 (his computer is down so I`m asking!lol) he said he was driving the truck & gradually kept losing power, then didnt hardly want to move at all, now cant keep it running! He thought it was trans. since didnt want to move but we went & looked at it & dont think it`s in trans. It sounds like a HORRIBLE vaccum leak but just cant seem to locate it. Never heard one quite this bad but it`s keeping it from staying running now. Just curious if anyone ever ran into this or has any ideas!! Thanks much!!

Check your catalytic converter, sounds like it could be clogged...

I still say check the cat...start it, if you can't feel any exhaust coming out try taking the front o2 sensor off (the one before the cat) to help it breath alittle better see if it helps..If it does then replace the cat...just my 2 cents.

Any other ideas?? think the back of the intake could maybe be cracked or something we cant see good?? All I know how do describe is just an enormous vaccum leak, its weird!

I'm stumped...May have to have a pro look at it, even if you have to pay them to diaognose it aleast you know what to fix instead of randomly replacing stuff..Goodluck..keep us posted on the outcome.
