Thats what I noticed as well. From one door, maybe it was an accident on that side or maybe it just fell off, but from both doors? And the pieces behind the doors are still there. Interesting.

Lol, you guys crack me up. I think the picture over exagerates the "new dakota look" with the glare. Haha I also don't think anybody hit a telephone pole while opening the door. I'd need some better pic's for that. The door's flow fine in my opinion BUT HAVE BEEN CHANGED OUT. Odds are the way the paint looks, the doors were rusting out and the owner swaped them out. Know how I know? Look at the mirror's. Those mirrors are from 98+ while the truck is a 96. Haha, he stole the doors off my truck (joking... same color truck and don't have the trim pieces). Thats why it's missing the door trim. Shoot, mines an 01 and the bottom lips are rusting out pretty bad. Just wondering, are the doors manual windows and locks? or did he find power doors?

1900$ sounds like a pretty good deal.now if you could get them down to 1500$ that would be a great deal.

i have a 96 5.9 reg cab short bed slt. so apparently they do exist. i hate extended cabs and beds... the smaller the better and lighter, and faster

thanks for the suggestions guys. one thing i didnt really like was i originally went because i saw a 88 chevy truck he had for sale. 150k miles but the engine looked great and carfax came back above avg. only things i didnt like where it was v6(not that big of a deal but i always like v8 more) and its long bed(dont like but its ok). he kept pushing the dodge on me though. like "well i got this newer dodge.... what about the dodge u dont like that one" made me look less at the dodge than i should have. truth be told i loved the dodge when i saw it. short bed. big v8 model. newer...same miles and only $400 more than the v6 chevy???? come on now.. i started thinking maybe he was pushing the dodge cause he has to sell it faster. auctions have some program where they dont have to pay anything within 30days or something or dont have to title it within 30 or 45 days which gives used car dealers a chance to sell it so normally what you put down is what they really paid for it so it covers the cost of buying it from the auction. i cant remember where i heard that. but anyway. i am about 90% sure im getting the dodge next sunday(god willing). even my wife is tellin me get the dodge lol
