What does it take to go HID?
I have a '96 2500 Sport. I have replaced my old foggy headlights with some clear housings and Silverstars but I'm spoiled by the HID headlights in my car (and the new clear housings on my Ram have a pretty crummy light pattern). I know that some folks on here have put real HID headlights on their trucks. What does it take to do this? Is there a kit that gives the best bang for the buck? Most of what I have seen on Ebay is nothing more than blue tinted bulbs. I guess what I really want to know is if there's a way to go HID on the cheap.

Check out XenithXenons.com now. They seem to have great service if you have any questions and have good prices. The are running a sale right now where you get $30 off. So the price for a single beam kit comes out to $110 and $145(I think) for a bi xenon kit.
I ordered a kit from them for my R1 and love it. They are also a sponser of another forum I'm on.

The Single beam kits from DDM are between $44 and $59. I've bought a total of 7 kits through them so far and have not had a problem.

Here's mine with the low/high kit, high's lit, as well as my HID driving lights lit.
