Dual air intake

Dual air intake
Anyone had a chance to try one of these dual air intakes? Just wondering how it compares to the usual single side air intake.

My Airaid intake seems much longer then this to get the filter farther away from the exaust manifold heat. When I was installing mine, I thought a dual snorkel setup would look cool though.

RE: Dual air intake
that has trouble written all over it!!!
your putting your air filters right above the exaust.. dumb, you'd be sucking in hot air at every stop light, causing heat soak on the intire intake system...stay away from it...
One suggestion would be to move the air filters to the front of the truck and insulate the tubing going back to the air hat... that'd work!
There is another solution out there for dual air inlets... I'll go look for it.

RE: Dual air intake
with the ram air box, you'd have to make sure it'll fit under the hood and order the right depth box... so you'll need to get out the tape measure. I saw a Ram with this on it a while back and it looked awesome, it had the magnum top to it instead of the one that comes with the box... 2 flex tubes running to the front of the motor, not insulated however... that's something I'd add to prevent heat soak.
