Cam bolt on lower LCA

Default Cam bolt on lower LCA

Hey guys how many of you have messed with the cam bolt on your lower control arms on when you put your lift kit on. Im thinking of turing mine so i can push the front axle out a lil more. Because i still rub a lil bit when im driveing and turn my wheel But if im sitting still and turn my wheel i dont rub at all. It has 5 inch of lift with 315/75/16 i should be clearing them i dont know whats wrong

Are you rubbing on the fender or the control arm?

I think you need longer lower control arms to accomplish that.

Yea thats what i thought wasnt sure do all 5 inch kits come with longer control arms. Im just tired of it rubbing and DO NOT want to do a body lift any ideas

Ya, most kits over 3" have new arms. Your still running the stock arms?
Top Gunz makes a pretty inexpensive set of adjustable tubular arms. They are not heim joint ends though, just poly bushing ends like the stock arms. I went with Skyjacker tubular arms on mine. No heims on mine either, but you can get them with either single or double. Just depends on how hard you wheel you ride if you think you need that kind of flex.

You can get them from Summit, Rocky Mountain Suspension, or lots of other on-line places.
