Hi-flow cat install

[QUOTE=CSXfan;1458323]Hi all,
Some of you wanted to know more about installing a hi-flow cat so here ya go. The stock catalytic converter on my '99 5.9l was shot so I decided to go with a Hi-flow. I ordered Magnaflow part #23285 off of ebay for $206 including shipping. This kit included 2 new downpipes, one of which still needed to be clamped to the cat.
Thats the exact same setup I have, I love the sound with the 50 series muffler.

Sorry these aren't the best pics, not having a lift makes taking pics up the underside of your tuck sorta hard.

Oh ok. That's understandable. As far as getting the bolts out half the time I've done exhausts I usually just end up cutting the bolts off. Does it comes with new ones? If so that might not be a bad option. You can also try heating them up with a propane torch. That's worked better for me than any penetrating oil. Although I do like PB Blaster.

I bought this same high flow cat kit and was very impressed. Plus the cat & pipes are stainless steel, and are mandrel bent, were most exhaust shops don't have that capability to mandrel bend, so its just restricting exhaust flow. Plus its easy to install. I got mine from here, a good price
