The thing is, even if you don't have the tool, autozone for instance will rent you one to use for free or , you can get one for like twenty bucks or less ,vehicle specific. So why struggle.:-)

I used a big strap wrench, a 14" Cresent wrench, and a 1/4 of PB blaster on the WP/fan clutch nut. worked pretty well.

PB is a good penetrating oil too, not just a rust buster. Might work well in door panels to inhibit rust as well, I dunno.

well we got it on properly wednesday!!

then ran into a problem with the heater hose pipe into the WP.

finally got that part today... then busted the O-ring on it... so went down to pep-boys and picked up a bunch for free.

then greased it and got it on

no leaks!!!

then... when i replaced the rotor and cap on wednesday i must have undid my vacuum line on the brake booster... that took me a few minutes and a couple run stop signs to figure out tonight haha good thing i could engine brake!

but its finally all together and running great!





for now...
