Default possible 1998 SS/T

i have been looking at a 98 SS/t for about a month now its at a used car dealer and dont really wanna go and deal with them but i have seen it sitting there for about 4-5 months dont know how long it has been there before then. just wondering if it was worth going and haggling em for it. i might wait a month or 2 more to see if it goes. it has 97,000 on it which aint bad other than that stock

what are you waiting for? the longer it sits the more likely your going to have to have something fixed on it because its not being used.

thats true. just was wondering if these are decent trucks or not i plan to do alot of performance mods on her and was wondering if this is a good model to start with or look around for a regular ram. they are asking 6900 for her and i dont know if that is a reasonable price with 97k miles on her

o ok i see!

well... is it a stick shift? i wouldn't buy it if it wasn't. that stock auto tranny won't hold much. the NV4500 on the other hand is pretty damn powerful.

well i went and talked with the used car dealer. he didnt really seem to know much about it. it was a trade in and he kept emphasizing how RARE! this truck was. i offered him what i thought was a good price 5500 which was about 500 more than what i went thinking i was gonna offer him. he didnt like what i offered him and went on this speach about me lowballing him. i then told him i had seen it there for the last 6 months and it prolly needed alot of work and i then turned around and walked out of his office as he was following me trying to say sorry. i gave him my # and told him to call me if he changed his mind. i guess we will wait and see huh?!
