Wish mine was that simple. But my CB is like a full size one and my cup holder isn't broke yet. So i'm still debating. I will probably go to TSC and get some angle aluminum and make one. Trying to keep it on the cheap. Poor college student here. tehe
I had the fiberglass shorty and really hated it. I run both my CB and my radio off the same antenna (had the radio antenna torn off shortly after I got the truck) also the tied down whip is a lot easier to handle when going into parking garages.
I gotta keep mine low, so I can get my slide in camper in without interference from the CB antenna. I got a shorty fiberglass (36") that I plan on fender mounting, but I can't seem to get anyone on the thread that has an open hood shot. I will not buy on . Has to be made by me.
+4 on Cheap... Currently at college finishing my Industrial Mechanic apprenticeship, and I am just cheap! If someone else can make it, so can I!
