get the superchips flashpaq it would be better than what your getting now, but its noit better than the sct, sct the is the best !!

The Dreaded Death Flash is a computer re-flash by the dealer. It would retard the timing, causing you to have no power. It was used to stop pinging caused by a leaky plenum gasket.

 

used superchip 3815 in the buy sell for 300$. you might even be able to get it cheaper. i have seen them go for as little as 200$. i look in the buy sell section everday. always looking for a great deal on something.i sold my hypertech max energy for under 200$. you just have to keep your eye out and be patient.

 

ok pros and cons.

pros: complete custom tune for what i have done to truck
faster, much better throttle response. Faster. Much better shifting now. Faster

Cons: 550 bux. Im pinging now because i dont have my 180 t-stat installed. but not bad pinging. oh and faster (cops)

 

can somone explain to me what is actually better superchips or hypertech im about to buy a programmer and i dont know what to get i have looked into sct but the one i looked at was almost 500 and it came blank had to take it to a sct shop and it would charge me more to do a proper tune! so im just looking for some advice on the tuner situation...
