Default check the exhaust

one quick problem to eliminate is a plugged converter. a partially plugged converter will allow the engine to run for several minutes until it kills the engine. if you get the truck started, go to the exhaust and see if it's flowing freely. sometimes it takes a few minutes for the converter to start restricting.

i had a truck that would run for almost exactly 5 miles and would die within 100 yards of every previous failure. i thought aliens had a beam there.{G}
