Default TPS & MAP Sensor...

Anyone see these fault alot on 5.9 Mag? Will a 360 run w/ out one plugged in? I am trying to narror down a crank / no start issue and wonder if these sensors could be the issue.

I'm a foreign car tech (BMW) and our pcm's will over ride and run open loop if one is unplugged...

Crank-no-start is likely the CPS (crank position sensor) which is mounted on the rear passenger's side of the engine where the transmission bell housing meets the engine block directly behind the passenger side head.

I would lean in thet direction too, however it started off as a rough run, then turned to a crank no start when the truck sat overnight.

Heres the other info...

Here the rough run CAN be caused by the crank sensor, it either goes out completly or starts running rough..put the scan tool on it and take a look

Will the crank sensor cause intermittent rough idle, and loss of power while running at highway speeds,(just started)? Rough idle problem has been a factor for several years. Scan showed nothing a year ago on the rough idle problem. I have replaced the TPS,and IAC. Whats up?

Forget it all, sensor was not the issue. I tossed a new ignition coil in and she fired right up, runs light a champ now. The secondary coil had alot of cracks and rust, mosture must have built up inside and cooked it.
