And just to clarify, when I said do it at school and get a ride , I was under the assumption that you were already at school, but then I looked at your sig and realized the time zone difference from where I am to where you are. Either way, driving it was a major NO NO ! Until you figured it out.

That's what my engine did.. When my tranny blew, the motor revved a bit too high, and then the check gauges light came on, and the oil pressure went to 0, could be a blown rear main, could be the oil pump blew up, could be the rebuild wasn't done right, and a rod blew through the block.. Could be many things.. glad your having them check it out.. Although, sounds like your a bit hard on her, maybe she couldn't take it anymore and commited suicide..

Ok so the gears in my oil pump got busted and they are putting in a new pump and gasket. Its going to come up to about 400 bucks customer price. Should be around 200 - 250 employee price. They checked the engine for me and said there was no damage to it and that it was smart not to drive it.

You should consider yourself lucky. Very lucky. Lesson learned is if you ever see an oil light/gauge go to 0 - jam that bitch into Neutral and kill it!!
