Autolite 3923's or NGK's are the norm. For wires, I run MSD Street Fire($40, AutoZone). MSD or Taylor wires are good.

I would look at your rotor cap might as well change it out also when your back there. I know how much of a pain it can be. Then look at upgrading your coil, I had a 01 1500 before this truck, it seemed to help.

Or mabey it was me just thinking it helped, either way I was happy with the swap out.

Are we going to start debating over what is better, MSD or Accel Coils?

I would say go with MSD or a Standard Motor Products, OEM Dodge or Borg Warner .( no particular order)If you go with an Accel, just make sure you keep the old one in the truck with you. And besides that, from what I've read, an aftermarket MSD or Accel don't do crap for performance anyway. Spark plugs and wires are way more important.

I had a napa brass cap on my truck for like 2-3 months. When I pulled it off to start the rebuild it was all corroded up. I won't spend the money on one of them again. Cheap *** ones don't get that bad that fast.

The 8mm or whatever it is, is the size of the wire
