Default 2500 Front brake replacement

Are the front wheel bearing packing into the rotor assemblys on the front brake disc of a 00' 2500? If so, any special tools required? Anything special to watch out for?

Thats good to hear, I HATE repacking wheel bearing. Are they held on w/ set screw or anything? Just a good hit w/ a hammer should wack'em off?

Yep! And if you hate packing wheel bearings, you'll love it after you have to replace one of your hub/bearing assemblies. LOL

That can be taken out of context so easily that I will give you a free pass since it's the Holiday Season

LOL! Thought of that, but I'm too PO'd , because as soon as the snow melts off mine I'll be doing the driver axle joint. Again !

And btw, there is nothing holding them on except the lug nuts when you put the wheel on.(no screw or anything) And if they are tight ,do not hit the surface where the pads ride, use a block of wood.

If you have a Harbor Freight in your area, the disc brake piston tool is perfect for retracting the piston. Just remember to take the lid off of the reservoir.
