Angry sounds like spark knock but cant seem to get rid of it

ok i have a 00' dodge ram 1500 sport 4x4 5.9L and i cant seem to get rid of what sounds like spark knock to me. i hear a tapping type noise coming from the engine whenever i hit the gas. ive done a BG induction cleaning, pulled the plugs and soaked the pistons with throtle body cleaner overnight, after that didnt work i even tryed the old trick of sucking transmission fluid through the intake. nothing worked, i need more ideas of what this problam could be. thanks

Try colder plugs as well. With my 3815 Flashpaq, I pinged under load. Used Autolite 3923 spark plugs, no ping.

Otherwise, the plenum gasket is notorious for letting oil into everything and causing nasty stuff like that as well.

These are those Autolite 3923 plugs? Thats a good price, only like 12ish for 8 of them.

And is it worth it to get the Autolite APP5224? The Double Platinum?
