stock infinity systems on anything suck...and if you replace the headunit remove all the stock crap and replace....much less of a headache....i spent 4 hours one night just trying to bypass the infinity....and this also goes with stock bose systems

my friend has a 01 1500 and he had work done that they had to take dash apart when he got the truck back the front speakers no longer work only the rear and on some of his radio stations now its static like no longer clear pick up like it was...what do we do?

Ditch the factory wire harness and run new speaker wire from the deck straight to the speakers. makes life oh so much easier.
