I got mine off pcfixer. I think they were like the cheapest ones they have and arn't coated at all. They were black but it had a sticker right on them that said it wasn't high heat paint and would burn off. I threw them on anyway. I took them off later and sprayed them with the high heat engine paint which help up a little better but still burnt off. When I took them off this time I just threw them in the back of the truck. The are rusted up now. I am gonna get a blasting cabinet and clean them up along with a few other parts before I put them back on. I would love to have them jet hot coated but that will probably be out of my price range.

I didn't notice much gain from my headers. Top end was improved (like passing at high RPM or when pulling up a hill), but otherwise there wasn't much gain. Still, headers just look cool as hell.

kinda what i was thinking too. if you ever notice when someone asks about mods, the guys with headers donnt say "that was my best mod". infact you hardly ever see to many even recommend them. i was thinking 5 or 10 ponies at most. but every little bit helps. and when my forced induction gets rolling here in a couple months,i think thats when i will see a little bit more of a benefit from headers.

oh yeah, ceramic coated headers look sweet.

Information like this is really valuable. It takes work to filter out all the B.S. to get to these type of comments, but worth it.
Thanks guys.

i agree lv360ram. lots of b.s going on.

also got my dick cepek dc-1 rims black on the way too. now to chose tires. cannt make my mind up. mud grapplers or cepek crushers. kinda leaning towards the crushers.was leaning towards the nitto's,but they are hard for me to get locally. i can get the crushers from a local tire shop and he will balance, rotate and fix flats for free.and have a road hazard warranty for no charge.plus he is really, really cool. he's a freakin character. if you call his shop, and after you are done talking to him, just before he hangs up he always says,"ROCK ON". you just have to hear him and meet him to understand.
