Looks like it's mainly for CA emissions though... So, shouldn't matter on mine..

And shouldn't cause it to throw this code..
I think that was in response to the cat problems that chrysler admitted to in 2005
I would be careful if you have it reflashed because I think that on the 2000 you will still get the death flash.

I aint gunna get it reflashed... I'll just let it go... I think I will wait to tear into it too much until after the tranny is fixed... I don't think it's anything too serious right now, it does seem to run ok, but the oil pump needs replaced, and I don't want o run it too much until that is fixed... Which will be done at the same time as the tranny.. Since it didn't happen till after the exhaust was fixed, I wonder if I knocked something loose, the after cat sensor wires are just hanging loose, and I did get caught on them, and pulled them kinda hard, might of caused a problem there maybe? I dunno..

If you think the oil pump or shaft is bad then why are you starting it to begin with?
