Default well heck

I am still waiting for my son to get the time to tow my truck over to the guy to get the tranny fixed, so while I had some time, I was checking the exhaust, and found it had come loose at the rear of the CAT.. So, I clamped it back together, and started it up, still needs the donut gasket, still loud, but I can hear the nice tone it has now.. Anyway, Then the check engine light came on, and threw a P0205 code at me, which is Cyl #5 injector circuit malfunction..

Any ideas on this one?

I did find this recall is incomplete Don't know if it would have anything to do with it or not:
REPROGRAM PCM OBD CATALYST MONITOR

Looks like it's mainly for CA emissions though... So, shouldn't matter on mine..

And shouldn't cause it to throw this code..

I looked in the service manual. The description was: "Injector #5 output driver stage does not respond properly
to the control signal."

It sounds like to me that you have a bad injector. IDK though!

weird... It didn't do that until I messed with the exhaust... strange.. IDK either... I'll figure it out later... It still runs good, I want to do those RR's and maybe pushrods soon though... I figure once I get the tranny fixed, I can slowly start rebuilding the motor, bit by bit...And with the amount of money I have to work on this with, I'll have it all done, by 2030.. hahaha

FLASH FORWARD TO 2030:
you: "Yeah I would like some plugs and wires for a 2000 Dodge Ram with the 5.9l..."
clerk: " whats that?"
you: "That's an internal Combustion V8 engine"
clerk"What's internal combustion? Is that anything like the laser ionization motors that came out prior to the dilythium plasma motors?"
you: "sigh, never mind"
