nice. i like red calipers. wanted to paint mine even bought a kit just for calipers when i got my d/s rotors. just got in a big hurry and ending up not doing them.

glad you are finding something to do with your time. thats the big problem nowadays, there is nothing for young energetic teens to do. which ends up leading to problems.

I used brake caliper paint on the calipers, the springs I am actually just using a high temp engine paint with a rust free primer underneath, the rust free primer seems to hold on pretty well to a surface, and the engine paint just matched the paint I was going to use in the engine when I get my chance at that. I hopefully with get new pacesetter shorty headers soon and have those black, but Im not sure if I can even change my headers anymore considering one of the bolts from the block just fell apart when I went to take the nut off...

If you buy headers and plan to paint them with the high heat paint I will tell you now it don't work. Been there done that. I'm gonna try the VHT paint next. If I have spare cash when I'm ready for them I might get them coated but I doubt that's gonna happen.

I was planning on black powdercoat, I already heard that the header paint is awful and fails every time... The blackberry battery cover was done by my brother, he works for a company that does laser cutting, he did my shoes and camera also, but the camera has my name and the shoes have my initials.

Regular powdercoat wont handle more than 400F, be sure its the hi heat pc. (good to 1000F constant/1200 peak)

The VHT paint is crap, decided to try it on my Eddy TES ss headers and came off as soon as I fired up the 408 first time. Got some 1 3/4" LT Pacesetters, if I dont build a bigger oven, Ill send them out to get coated.

Thanks, few details in that pic Im changing & its torn down farther than that pic shows. So far including nuts, bolts & washers, Im at about 225 pieces polished, painted or powdercoated (165pwdr). Ive done 95% of them myself.
