There is no way that truck weighs that much. No way in hell. Vehicles over 6000ish lbs have to come up with backup warning systems from the factory, which your truck did not come with. Also, that's insane. That's almost double what my Extended cab shortbed Ram weighs.

The GVW may be 8800lbs loaded, however that is very different from the curb weight.

I think your GVW is 8800lb, not your curb weight.
That same article also lists the gas mileage as:

EPA Economy, miles per gallon
city/highway/average 18/24/17 !!

I think the only way to get an accurate weight is to take the truck to a scale and weight it. Some of these articles online get their data messed up.

Damn Gixxer, that thing moves. Those 4.56's help a lot.

What is your rpm at 60mph with those?

I highly doubt it, but maybe the previous owner did somthing to it that im not aware of, its always been very quick feels very powerful compared to any 5.9's ive driven... and most 5.2 get reps for being turds.

well without my supercharger on i do somewhere between 8.5 and 9. with the supercharger, i am pushing somewhere between 6.5 and 7. and when i get the sct tuner for the supecharger, i am hoping to get down to 6 flat. oh and i think those huge 4.56 gears might have something to do with your quick times.

I too had to let off a little to get it to shift to 2nd.
I might try another run one day when the roads clear up (snow).
but 0-60 for me in 7sec will not happen until I can get the rocket attached to my truck bed. LOL
mine probably takes longer than that. I have terrible low end power. but once i hit the higher gears i get some pretty good power
