What's your 0-60 time?
I was out yesterday screwing around in my truck and decided to time my 0-60 after changing my tranny fluid. It was about 9 before cause I had to lift to get it into 2nd but yesterday it was.......... 7..........
I don't know if that's fast by car standards but for my truck which weighs 8,800lbs that seems pretty fast. Hearing that V10 get up to 4600 rpms.. way in the red line.. is pretty scary.... stopping is even scarier... How fast are yall's trucks?

And the 0-60 is about 9 seconds according to this article.

I think your GVW is 8800lb, not your curb weight.
Edit: the more I google it, the more it looks like you don't know what curb weight is vs. GVW.

This also states your GVW is 8800lbs.

Our choice here was a top-of-the-line Ram 2500 Laramie SLT with the new Club Cab, an 8-ft. cargo box and Dodge?s massive 8.0-liter V10 engine. This is a lot of truck. At more than 20 ft. long with a gross vehicle-weight rating of 8800 lb., it?s probably more than most of us will ever need.

I went out and got a vid...
I timed 7.5 seconds... so plus or minus a few tenths still fast IMO for a truck that isnt anything special.
I highly doubt it, but maybe the previous owner did somthing to it that im not aware of, its always been very quick feels very powerful compared to any 5.9's ive driven... and most 5.2 get reps for being turds.

I think i was 11-12 seconds in my all stock 5.9L with 3.55, 265.75.16.
I too had to let off a little to get it to shift to 2nd.
I might try another run one day when the roads clear up (snow).
but 0-60 for me in 7sec will not happen until I can get the rocket attached to my truck bed. LOL

But im unsure weather or not its actually worth it, everything looks MUCH cooler, and benifits like picture messaging and video but it also is alot slower and crashes more than it did before.
