5.2L and 5.9L Dodge trucks use the same heads.

if by standard you mean non-magnum, then yes they are different....i believe they will bolt to the block but the intake holes are different

It just occurred to me that maybe he's wondering if heads from a truck with an automatic transmission will fit the engine of a truck with a standard transmission.

LA heads are fed oil through galleries

Magnum heads are fed oil through the lifters and push rods

LA intake bolts are go in parallel to the machined surface

Magnum intake bolts go in straight up and down(about 45 degrees to machined surface)

Magnum heads can be adapted to an LA block, not sure about the other way around, wouldn't want too anyways

Magnum heads are better for performance from what I hear, not sure why though.

94+ was the Magnum 318/360 with the different heads.

Magnum heads have a higher flow (even higher than most of the LA aftermarket heads) and they have the ability to accept a 1.7 ratio rocker. The LA heads couldn't take more than a 1.6 rocker, stock was 1.5.

For an in depth look at the differences between LA and Magnum engines, read this article.
