ahh, just go buy a nice, inexpensive 110v Mig and do it yourself. You'll prolly spend almost as much as the welder would cost you to have someone else do the job anyway. This way you'll end up having it for all future projects that may come up and learn a skill in the process.
Mig welders are like cheating, you should have yourself being able to weld that muffler with just a day or two practicing on some pieces of scrap steel.
Trust me, I learned with a stick welder and then went to gas, if you can solder you can use a mig welder.

the only thing i would say is if you donnt want to use the gas its ok too. your welds just wont turn out quit as good.

We have a little Lincoln 110 MIG that uses the flux core wire here at work, and it performs almost as good as my 220 MIG with C25 gas.

Mine doesn't throw codes, sounded louder, doesn't hit the cross memeber, and works just fine on my truck so all those excuses seem to be bs. I did put a o2 simm on my truck just for the heck of it but ran it without that for a few weeks and it did fine and didn't throw any codes. I will say though other than the sound I don't know if it was worth the money unless you already have a bad cat. In fact, while it sounds good it is just a little too loud for me sometimes so if I was to do it again I more than likely wouldn't have put it on but I thought my stock cat might be bad which it wasn't. However, if you need a new cat or just want one for the sound or tiny performance it's not a bad thing to get one.
