Default I have cash, no one will take it

Since getting my 2nd gen, I have been upgrading it slowly and really having a great time doing it.

I did some research here and figured that the Magnaflow Cat would be a nice addition to the sound of my truck, so I bought the direct fit.

I have been to no less than 6 places to get it installed (I cannot weld) an here is what I have heard.

1. That will make your truck throw codes.
2. It is not a direct fit and will take too much time to do.
3. Is not worth the money to install.
4. Will provide the same stock sound and is not worth it.
5. Will hit the cross member when installing.
6. We only install the parts that we sell.

I am at a loss.

Bring it to me. I can do it in under 2 hours.

Take a pic or link to show me it.

Maybe the stormtroopers are just scared of you, Vader. Try taking it somewhere other than the Death Star.

Do all aftermarket mufflers need to be welded on? Don't they just bolt on with U blots right where the stock set up is?

yea you should weld its just better that way less leakage and it keeps water from seeping in and rusting it from the inside out. as far as the cat goes. If you bought a magna flow it should be a direct fit. They sell them that way and thats what I bought it took like an couple hours but we had problems with getting the exhaust bolts out to replace them. They basically are giving you a load of bull take it to a body shop not a muffler shop and see what they would charge to weld it in there for you.

where are you trying to take it? to the stealership or a big chain place? you need to try to find a mom and pop place. its hard for me to believe that nobody will install it for you. you donnt know anyone that has a little wire fed welder? thats all thats needed besides a cut off tool of some kind.
