Question upper ball joint?

what's the best way to remove a upper joint from a ram van. Do I need a socket? Or just a big adjustable wrench? If so, what size is that? thanks

If the vans are anything like the trucks then they are pressed in and the best way to get them out is to get a ball joint press. You can buy them or rent them from AutoZone, Murray's, etc. Just double check to see if your ball joint sits in a tapered hole, if it does, make sure to get the tapered press cups.

Default ball joint

thanks DB, looks like it screws in, it has flats on it like a nut. I'm thinking I need the big dodge socket, 2 & 9/64" but I'm not sure?

Well I've never worked on the vans so good luck with that. I hope it goes smoothly.
