has anyone take off their fuel injector and have them cleaned and balanced?
if how did it run after reinstalled?

 

If you can be without it for a week, send them to www.witchhunter.com. They will clean and flow test them. You will get a flow test report of before & after too that will show you how bad yours were to start with and how much better they are now that they are cleaned.

 

what about thoes cleaners that you run throught a tank of gas? im not sure if they work but you never know.

 

Dont work near as well as having each injecter cleaned one by one. I've had them do my T&C, my Porsche and will be sending them the ones from my 97 1500 in a month. I think it's only $15 or $17/injector. Takes them a day to do it.

 

there 17 a pice. ill run a few throught my truck. i need my trcuk everyday beside sat. and sun. so im sol on getting the done. my trcuk only has 45,000 on it anyway lol.

 

how much did it affect your MPG and smoothness after you had the injectors cleaned?

 

I haven't done it but they say you can throw them in a ultra sonic cleaner

 

Someone suggested that on my problem. I plan on doing that this weekend. To help out I've had great results with the SeaFoam and Techron Super Concentrate; O'Reilly's has a complete kit for $49 + tax made by the 3M company.

They have an ultra sonic kit? I might have to look into that. I know you can get cleaners from harbor frieght. I just don't know what to use in it
