Default lesson learned. anybody else have a stories like mine?

So a few months ago I was driving home at about 1 o clock in the morning listening to Garth Brooks Beaches of Cheyenne and when I got about 1/2 mile from my house i saw this dark object running at me towards my door at a pretty fast pace. I couldn't tell what it was but whatever it was i figured it would see this huge Dodge Ram and or hear the rumbling exhaust and think to itself, whoa i better not go any further. It wasn't until the very last second when i was driving i figured out it was a deer and it wasn't going to stop, as it ran into the side of my driver door putting a dent right smack dab in the middle of the lower portion of it, streching the metal a bit and causing an estimated $300 worth of damage. You might be able to see it in my signiture picture but you will definently see it in my profile picture. And as far as the deer goes, he ran off hopefully embarassed and lucky i couldn't catch him...oh i was pissed. It all happened real fast.

Now just a few days ago I was driving along on the highway listening to that same Garth Brooks song as when the deer hit me, when a car passes me like I'm going backwards and a rock from their tires comes up and puts a good size crack in my windshield. oh i was pissed again.

So the lesson here is don't listen to Garth Brooks Beaches of Cheyenne while driving anywhere, anytime. BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN. I learned the hard way. But looking back its kind of funny.

A small one with my Dakota, cartwheeled into the water filled ditch, probly didn't feel a thing, broke my marker.

My Dad got t-boned just behind the d-door on the rocker panel in a Ramcharger, tore the running board off.

i was driving on 55 south doin 80 and i was right behind another car in the lane over. It was dark out and all of a sudden a deer jumps right out across the interstate it actually somehow ran inbetween the front of my truck and the back of the car in front of me without getting hit. this was fortunate because it was the day after i got my new radiator. Another time i wasnt quite as fortunate and got t-boned by a 93 suburban doin 65. luckily everone was uninjured but the suburban front end was smashed like a pancake. it hit me right at the rear wheel and snapped the passenger side leaf spring. I tied it down with a ratchet strap and drove it back home where i straigtened the frame, put in a new rear end and a new bed and before i knew it, it was back on the road.
