yeah b&g lists flashes for the pcm that change shift points.. unless thats just overdrive or something.. The other thing is that my friend only wants like 100 bucks for the turbo 400. So thats the real reason ive played around with the idea.

On a 94, No.

On a 98, Yes.

94 has an RH unit, 98 has an RE unit.

And its not that the computer "sets" the shifts, its that the computer monitors the governor pressure sensor and solenoid. The solenoids are doing the work.

But how much are the conversion parts going to run you?

The adapter plate is 477 bucks. And im thinking the best transfer case would be an np205 from a late model dodge. Off Road Design makes an adapter plate for the turbo 400 to np205 for 275bucks. And a quick look on ebay found a rebuild 205 for 600bucks

well you want to hear a good one. today i was getting out of the truck and a 2000 ram 2500 24v back in and park next to me. so i said nice truck blah,blah and we were talking about forums and a menber of the forum he is on put a allison trans in his dodge

that would be pretty sick if you can put a allison trans in a dodge

I don't get why you don't hear of Allison swaps more often, I think I've seen RVs with the Cummins/Allison combo, so the parts must exist to make it a straight swap.
