Mine has never let me down. Best/most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Don't bat an eye about taking it cross country, which I've done now every year since I bought it.

Hey, iceman, you misspelled "mispell" in your reason for editing! HA! The irony!

Mine let me down a few days ago. I went to start mine the other day...cranked..died....cranked....died...scratchin g my head....cranked...started. So, I thought, just a fluke. Came back to work, and went outside for a brake 2 hours later, it started right up as if nothing happened. Went out at the end of my shift....click click click. It sat overnight in the parking lot (Sheriff's Dept). Took the started off the next day, tested fine. Put it back on....started right up. Needless to say....loose starter ground...and 12+ hrs with no truck.

The truck has left my wife and i stranded in Roanoak, VA once. Clutch went out. Left my parents stranded in VA once when they were going to Maine, i forget for what.

They have had the fuel pump go out about 80 miles from home.

This truck has been to just about every state east of the mississippi river. It has 186k on the clock.

My father in laws dodge randomly leaves him stuck around town, when its wet it wont start sometimes, he hasnt been able to figure it out.

I think every car ive owned or my family has owned has left me stranded somewhere.

I guess i need to stop buying junk cars.

my truck has never let me down. i have ripped a huge circle/oval in my oil pan (no more oil in motor) and still drove it for abpout 30-40 mins to the store ad then the shop, and she kept asking for more. she always getts out of her own ****.

i found these trucks like to be drove differantly hen any other vehicle, go easy and drive normal, she will break, drive like there is a short between the steering wheel and the gas pedal, and she will drive forever and not stop. ( inside joke for the short funny, think about what connects the steering wheel and the gas pedal, lol)

I don't know what you're whining about. Cars break. Pickups break. Trucks break. Clutches, pumps, loose wires, batteries, brakes, etc. are all gonna go out. It's called maintenance. And you've got 186k on it? I'd say it's a dang good rig. My pickup only failed to start one time when the original battery died. That was 2002. My Dad's piece of crap Kenworth breaks down at least once a month and it's an 06. Try living with that for $180k.

The only time our vehicles let us down is when we let them down. Nothing just falls apart, our vehicles are always telling us something its our job to listen.
