The dodge let me down again.
I mainly made this thread for the few people on here who believe that these trucks are gods gift to man.
I fix vehicles everyday. You dont need to preach to me.

Oh? And who thinks their vehicles are God's gift to man? This thread accomplishes nothing save to complain about Dodge. Your pickup isn't even in your sig. If you fix vehicles "everyday" then you should know that a bearing going out is normal wear and tear. So apparently, you started a thread so you could persuade 'us' into believing something that you thought we all should know based upon real-life examples in an authoritative, hierarchical manner. So really, who's doing the preaching here?
You do read the threads on this board? Right? I need to try going through life with blinders on, it must be fun.
Mission accomplished.
Now why would i go and ruin a perfectly good sig?
At what mileage interval do you replace your wheel bearings?
Not really persuasion more like poking fun at. You should learn the difference, also you should probably pull those panties out of your crack, there making you quite ornery.
Oh and please stop usin big werds, im just one of those Chevy, idjits, we dont git dem big werds liken you dodge boys do.

All things will wear out over time, or Vibrations and temperature diferentiation will weaken parts, or the elements will get in and grind things up. Over all every truck on the planet will wear out and break. However, from personal experience, I found that if you follow the owners manual maintenance schedule you will get the most life out of your truck, and this may help avoid those stranded moments.
Out of the 37 vehicles I have owned personnally, the Dodges have the best track record. If something broke is was not due to manufacturing quality issues, but wear. So when I look at my last trucks:
1998 Dodge 3500 274,000 miles , outside of regular maintenance I replaced the crank sensor, and 3 cluthces. that is all.
1993 Dodge 3500 187,900 miles, Regular maintenance and steering box started to leak. Fixed it. That is all.
1992 Dodge Ramcharger 190,000 miles, replaced an ignition switch, and that is all.
2003 Dodge 3500 110000 miles, cracked rotor, that is all.
The list goes on like that, but my favorite is:
1996 Dodge T-Rex 6x6 140,000 miles, the roughest miles any truck can withstand,
all stock except for the suspension, axles, bumpers and cage. Engine and tranny have been underwater 7 times, extreme heat, stress, mud snow, rocks., safaries, Offroad races, ......etc... and the only things we have broken are: 1 drive shaft ( too much HP under stressful rock climb) 3 cracked and bent rims ( from Jumping and landing on rocks...Rims are Hummer rims anyways) and we broke a gear tooth in the T-Case from spinning all six tires on a 57 degree rock climb, lost traction and slid back hard locking the rear axles from movement. So I say these truck are pretty tough and reliable. We have beat on this truck for 9 years and it is still going!!!

Yeah thees trucks are not perfect, but if you take care of them they will take care of you. I have raced and competed with them all the the Dodges are hard to beat. Ask Rod Hall.

Ugh...knock it off. You guys are like 2 brothers fighting over a woman....
Back on topic...
My truck has worked fine since it took the starter off and secured it more. However, it does have issues with going in and out of 4WD. But, oh well..ill deal with it.
