if it is newly rebuilt motor, the ingectors shoudl be fine, but the pump, or even the fuilter may be clogged, and is starving. and yes, did you change the gas... bad gas sounds to me

well, syptoms of bad gas would be sputtering and bad smells. if you rebuild and use the same injectors, but left them open to the air and didnt clean them for a year, they could be very clogged, but im not condemning them, i was just making an example of clogged fuel system parts.

thanks for the replys guys fuel injectors were kept inside all year long in heated garage changed fuel filter and did a fuel injection cleaning on machine and put all new gas in been driving truck for a couple months.

does anyone think it could be the torque converter not giving any shifting problems or stalling when i come to a stop just a suggestion someone gave me

Change all fluid in the truck after it has bine sitting for a year . That might help some after because the fluid breaks down .

Take it to a different shop and see what they come up with. Dont tell them about the engine being rebuilt or it sitting for a year. It's worth the hour they might charge you for a diag fee.
