i have the 318, and i need to find something stronger. lol i twisted my blaock because of offroading. but it would have givin you plenty power, but keep you 3.9, better on gas,
and jus so ya know there gomer, these truck, no one sells a snorkel, you have to fab it yourself. so its better to just deall with it and watch were you go.

P.S. I got bored and started looking at albums....yes, im at work.
Explain to me how a 239ci. V6 would get better mileage than the 318ci V8?

I hate to say "you're wrong" to more than a few people in this thread, but I have to. The sending unit can be replaced separately from the pump.
I had mine replaced in my 1995 Dakota for around $200-$250 grand total, parts and labor, at a local shop. The Dakotas have a very similar system to our Rams when it comes to the fuel pump, I believe.
If you go ask someone at a $tealer$hip, he'll tell you the price for the sending unit itself is over $300. Point and laugh at him, then drive down the street to a shop you trust.
