Is it necessary to remove the negative battery terminal before I play with the bulbs?

Don't forget to check your muffler belts while you're at it.

Done. Just replaced it with a 3157. Of course it took 3x as long as it should have:

1. It was 20 degrees out and you can't wear warm gloves when doing that stuff
2. The studs seemed to be rusted in place and the assembly wouldn't come out
3. I didn't know you had to turn the sockets CCW to get them out of their place

But now I know
