Default Upgrading overhead console

I have a 1998 Ram 2500 Quad Cab that only has the maplights an sunglass holders. I want to upgrade to one with the compass and temperature. I have a console with the temp and compass, a wiring harness for it and the ambient temperature sensor that mounts on the hood although it only has about a foot of wires that were cut off. Does anyone know how to install this and does anyone have some sort of wiring diagram? The wire that hooks into module itself has a ground wire a 3 prong wire for something and at the very end is the complete white overhead console pin out connector. where would I plug this in? thanks guys heres a pic of what I have

You will need to run the wires up to the roof through the left "A" post plastic trim. Removing it will let you pull the wires down between the windshield and IP.
There will be a yellow, pink and black wire there for your dome lights, but you need to pick up an "ignition on" feed for the compass and temp feed. The 2 wires for the temp sensor need to run up to the front of the radiator support on the LS, just splice the wires to the temp sensor.

IP=instrument panel

and before you ask LS=left side

SLT means nothing, just your truck model designation.

That plug should go where your stock overhead console harness used to go, on the back of the fusebox. I have an extra ohc harness I bought that is for a '98.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram on how to do this? I'm kinda confused. If the white end plugs into where the old stock harness went. It should already have power shouldnt it? Do you slice the ambient temp sensor wires to the harness?
