Q's about TB's and 14x3 air cleaner
yeah if you buy a fastman at least you can say "you have a fastman" he does awesome job he put on lighter weight flys on ands bores it out, you get 80 bucks back when you send your back , so it really isnt bad , for the throttle responce its worth it.
i took a die grinder on mine after grinding off all the stuff on top.......i was gonna half-shaft it but couldnt figger out how to remove the shaft.......its not to a specific diameter, i just ground it out some but didnt go too close to where the plates close
wouldn't your mpg be the same if you wern't hauling *** more often? if you open a big valve slightly, its the same thing as opening a small one all the way...
If you wanted to, you could prolly machine the top of the keg flat, bore some new holes and run duel Throttle bodies! =)
haha, im gonna catch hell for that one I know... im sure the casing is too thin to allow that anyway

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll stay away from messing with the stock TB. Sounds like a pain in the butt and I don't have the right tools anyway.
I know a lot of people say that the Fastman TB gives you better throttle response, but can 4mm really make that much of a difference? I mean, if I'm gonna shell out $300 for a part that really doesn't need to be replaced, I want to make sure it's worth it.
