My 1500 isen't 4 wd, but I did my 1.5'' daystars yesterday in about 4 hours. It was pretty easy. I did have the wife help on a couple spots. It sits pretty much level but I havent measured it yet.

Since you sound pretty worried about having the sagging look when slightly loaded I would suggest the 1.5" coil spacer.

As far as install, its simple. Remove both shocks, unbolt the sway bar, lower the axle (lift the frame with a jack from the front), insert/bolt in the spacers, lower frame, re-bolt sway bar, install shocks, stand back and admire.

How about you go measure like I suggested. Then you will know what size spacer to go with, and if it will be short of making it level or not. Will take you 10 minutes tops to see how it will affect your truck. You can take the gamble and buy something, or take that 10 minutes at most to get it right the first time. Wish ya luck.

I guess what I'm saying fellas is I don't mind the truck sagging when it's loaded now that I think of it. It's looking like the 2" spacer is what will make the truck "level". However, I don't want to go with a 2" spacer if it's going to cause damage to the truck. Can my truck handle it, or is it not a good idea. As I said before, I have that 0-3" trackbar on my truck right now. I know my coil spacer is 1.5" since it's the offroad edition, and if I got a 2" spacer, it's be 3.5" in the front, does that mean the adjustable trackbar would then become pointless? I know I'm going to want to install the spacer within the next couple of weeks, I just wasn't sure if I should go with the 1.5" or the 2". I'll go with the 2" if it's not going to hurt anything, but if it's going to start putting awkward angles on my suspension like it used to be, then I'll play it safe and go with the 1.5".

I'd go with a 1.5". It's not like you are going to notice much if any of a difference between the two. Half a " isn't very much and that way you are safe.

Should as long as it's not the offroad edition. You don't want to go more than 3" of lift on the stock front end parts. Since the offroad edition is already 1.5" higher than normal rams you only want to go 1.5" higher unless you replace quite a few front end parts. The 3" kits would be fine that replace the coils as then you gain 3" but lose the 1.5" from the offroad coils. So basically it's only gaining 1.5" of lift over what you had. Just 3" more than the regular model where as the offroads were only 1.5" higher stock.
