I don't know this for sure at all, I'm just asking. What I do know is that the offroad edition appears to be higher in the rear than regular dodge rams.

I want to say the Offroad edition has a extra leaf in the rear but I'm not 100% sure. I've heard that before though. but like I said don't know for sure. I really don't know how the rear is. Maybe someone can tell you how many leaf's theirs has on a non offroad Ram and you can compare.

Any pics of your truck with the 305's? Do they rub at all?

As for spacers I'd check out Top Gun Customs or however they spell it. That or Daystar.

If you go with coils get the 3" lift coils. Skyjacker makes good coils if you go that route which personally I think is the better route but it also costs more.

I'd also like to see some pics with the 305's on there. I've got an offroad edition myself, and would like some bigger rubber if I can fit it.

The 305s fit with ease on the offroad edition suspension, I'm very impressed. Better yet, no rubbing at all. I'm extremely happy I finally just went ahead and did what was going to make me happy. The 305s don't look overly huge, but also give it that great mean look. I'll try to take some pictures for everyone to see today.

my truck has 3 leafs and an overload, thats before the addaleaf, now I have 4 leafs and an overload, so 5 leafs total... but a stock 1500 has 4 leafs total if you include the overload on the bottom.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the lift and I'm still not positive with what I want to do. I know for sure that I want an extra 1.5" lift in the front, either by a spacer or a spring. However, I'm still juggling if I want to touch the rear end at all. I'm not crazy about the idea that my trucks going to look like its sagging with a small load in the bed, I like taking pride in my truck with a heavy load in the bed and it not sagging. So perhaps doing a 1" AAL in the rear is something I've thought about doing. I'm still not sure yet though. I just don't want to go too high though because then the truck might start making the 305s look too short in height. What do you guys think? Pop the rear up too, or just stick with the leveling out the front??

Leave it alone. Get your 5" lift when your ready down the road like you've wanted.

They have different springs in the rear as they do in the front. My stock springs (2000 non off road) had 3 leafs and the overload while my brothers 01 off road had 4 leafs and the overload.

And aside from the coil springs and shocks, nothing really changed suspension-wise up front (track bar, control arms etc.). The front axle does have some extra webbing around the differential though.
